Designer & builder

Websites, designed the way they should be —
considered, not templated.

I design and build sites for business owners who care how their site looks and feels. Everything on this page is my own work — move your cursor around.

Most websites look like they were assembled. Yours shouldn't.

A template can give you a website. It can't give you one that looks like your business — considered, specific, and built with an actual point of view.

That's the gap I work in. I design the way something should look before I touch a single line of code, then I build it properly — fast, responsive, and made to hold up under real use, not just look good in a screenshot.

I come to this from an unusual place — a background in accounting and foreign trade, where precision and structure aren't optional. That's the same instinct I bring to a website: nothing placed without a reason.

Selected work

A few projects, shown in full.

Not a grid of thumbnails — a short, honest list. One live project, and three concept explorations built to show how the same design thinking adapts across different industries.

KhattLine is real, live, and mine. Aster House, Forma Studio, and Maison Noire are concept projects — self-directed explorations, not real clients — built to show how this same approach adapts across different industries. Future entries here will be labeled honestly as Client project, Independent project, or Concept project as they're added.

What I do

Three things, done properly.

Website design & development

A complete website, designed from your business's specific needs and built by hand — not assembled from a template. Because I design and build myself, what you approve in design is exactly what ships.

For
A business without a site that reflects how seriously they take their work.
Delivers
Fully custom, responsive site — designed, built, and handed off with a walkthrough.

Website redesign

For a business whose website no longer matches how far the business has come. I'll tell you honestly whether you need a full rebuild or targeted, high-impact changes.

For
An existing site that's working against how you want to be perceived now.
Delivers
An honest audit, a clear recommendation, and a rebuild scoped to what's actually needed.

E-commerce website design

An online store built to actually sell — not just display products. This isn't theoretical for me: I've built and run a real store, from brand to storefront to first sale.

For
A business selling products who needs a store that doesn't feel interchangeable with every other one.
Delivers
Store design, brand application, and platform setup — informed by real selling experience.
Let's design your store

Pricing depends on scope, so I don't publish a number here — once I understand what you need, I'll give you a clear, honest scope and price. No pressure, no obligation.

How this works

No mystery, no jargon.

  1. A real conversation

We talk about your business, what the site needs to do, and who it needs to convince — not a generic questionnaire.

  2. Design, shown early

I design the site before building it, and show you the direction early — not a finished surprise at the end.

  3. Built properly

Clean, fast, responsive, and tested across devices — no placeholder content left behind at launch.

  4. Launch and handoff

The site goes live, with a clear explanation of how to manage it — and a plan for what happens after, if you want it.

A bit about me

How I think, not just what I've done.

I'm Caner. I design and build websites — currently as can.studio, alongside running KhattLine, a shop I designed, built, and brought to its first sale entirely on my own.

Before this, I worked in accounting and foreign trade. It's an unusual path into design, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it shaped how I work now — precision and structure weren't optional there, and that's the same instinct I bring to a site.

“I don't think a website needs more to feel premium — it needs less, done more carefully.”

I design before I build, and show you the direction early — not a finished surprise at the end. I work on a small number of projects at a time, because that's the only way I can give each one real attention. And if something isn't the right fit, I'll tell you — a wrong-fit project helps neither of us.

Design
Visual identity, typography systems, and layout — concept through final detail.
Development
Building the site myself, so what's designed is what ships.
Brand application
Making a site feel like a specific business, not a template with a logo dropped in.
E-commerce
Hands-on experience running a real store, not just designing one.

A few honest answers

Questions worth asking upfront.

I don't see a long list of client projects — why?

Because I'd rather show you a few things I'm genuinely proud of than pad this page with work that doesn't represent what I actually do. What's here — including projects I built for myself — is a fair, honest sample of my standards.

Do you only design, or do you build too?

Both. I design the site and build it myself, so what you approve in design is what actually ships — nothing gets lost or watered down in handoff.

How long does a project take?

It depends on scope — a small site is a matter of weeks, a larger one longer. I'll give you a real timeline once I understand what you need, not a generic estimate before I know the details.

What do you need from me to get started?

A sense of your business, what the site needs to achieve, and anything you already have — existing branding, copy, product info. If you don't have all of that yet, that's fine — we can work it out together.

What if I already have a website?

That's a normal starting point. Sometimes the right move is a full rebuild, sometimes it's targeted improvements. I'll tell you honestly which one your site actually needs.

Tell me about what
you're building.

If you've read this far, you already have a sense of how I work. The next step is simple — tell me about your business and what you need, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.
